After the grand Opening Ceremony in The Hague, Rovers and Rangers are leaving for a Path of their choice. Roverway 2018 will host between 60 and 80 Paths all over the Netherlands and even in the border areas together with Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany. Participants will be allocated to a Path based on their preferences and in a Patrol (5-8 people) from their Contingent. The Patrol will have a Patrol leader and will merge with other Patrols to form an international mixed group of 40 to 50 participants.

A Path is organised by 3 Path leaders, aged 21+ with at least one Path leader aged 23+. The activities of a Path will be embedded in a specific region and linked to a local Scouts or Guides association or a local Rover team.

Check our Pathfinder page to see the location of the Paths on our interactive map. The Pathfinder is a tool that will help you find the right Path for you.

Opposites Attract

This Roverway edition
will focus on the personal
development of the participating Rovers and Rangers as part of their role in society. The Roverway will provide the environment in which Rovers and Rangers can interchange experiences, knowledge and ideas. This exchange of experiences will be encouraged through the three educational objectives, which all centralize around society and intercultural learning.
