The Roverway 2018 Planning Team wants to make sure that our event has a positive impact on the environment, for now and in the long run! We are primarily working to reduce the quantity of waste that we will produce this summer and use several methods to save energy, water and other resources.
We will drastically reduce the amount of disposables during the event. Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde will be car-free to keep our gas emissions to a minimum. Furthermore, the Path leaders have received tips and guidelines for a sustainable Roverway 2018. As a result, we believe and trust in a responsible event from the very beginning to the very end!
A large part of the programme will be related to sustainability, so you will discover how sustainability is a part of everything we do on daily basis. For example, you will be able to earn the World Scout Environmental Badge by participating in activities related to Sustainability!
We aim to offer challenging, fun and inspiring activities for everyone, to embrace the topic and to go back home with a new motivation and new ideas to act for a better world. Because at the end of the day, the change for a better environment starts with you!
